Right. So, another interesting day. Woke up at 10.30, made pizza, dropped Mom off at Metro Station, discovered that the cache of old Metro Faircards (including one with a US$22.00 face value) was worth US$1.05, because apparently they expire? Anyway, purchased a SmarTrip card in order to leave the parking lot, and dropped off an application at a store I had missed in the Mall across from the Metro station.
Pizza made earlier in the day was pretty good, but I think the dough would have risen much better had it been kept warm throughout the resting period. I'm going to make another pizza in order to test my theory in the next couple of days, just to be sure. I'll post the recipe as soon as I have done so. The dough itself was nice and sweet, and after having grown up with Ledo's Pizza, sweet pizza dough is kind of necessary for me.
Attempted to do laundry, but discovered that the new hoses decided that the normal amount of water flowing through was in fact a raging torrent that needed to be stopped. So, the pipes shut themselves down. I ended up removing the limiters in the pipes in order to prevent this from happening again. On the one hand, there is now less protection. On the other hand, we can wash our clothing without worrying about the water shutting off partway through.

And finally, I started running my camera through it's paces again after recently rediscovering it. I'm having issues recalling just how far I have to move it after it has claimed to have found the proper focus, so most of my pictures are turning out to be rather blurry. I am truly glad that I live in the age of digital cameras, or I would go bankrupt in developing all of my film. It took about twenty-six shots to get one that I like, and here it is.
