Unfortunately, Betty Crocker is a deceptive *expletive deleted* who should *expletive-filled rant deleted*. Now, the Betty Crocker Cookbook has a recipe for Quiche Lorraine. The one in the book actually calls for twelve strips of bacon, but still. Apparently, when they say the words 'nine inches' and 'pie crust', they are actually talking about some type of dish that is deeper than I expected. So, I ended up with two quiche(s?) to deal with. Also, a mess as the one that I thought looked awfully full overflowed.
Fortunately, I seem to have a midas touch when it comes to cooking. So, tonight's dinner turned out to be absolutely delicious and fluffy and moist despite Betty Crocker being a lying *expurgated*. Also, since all through the holidays I have yet to have Pumpkin Pie, we grabbed one and I shoved it in the oven. It's cooling now, but we're looking forward to it.
In summation, the Quiche was good. Also, Betty Crocker can die in a fire. Goodnight everybody, and stay safe out there.
::Edit::
Anybody have any quiche recipes that they especially like?
